In-circuit Debuggers and Programmers
For STM32 ARM Cortex-M Processor Evaluation and Development Boards
ST-LINK/V2 is an inexpensive in-circuit debugger and programmer.
The ST-LINK/V2 is an in-circuit debugger and programmer for the STM8
and STM32 microcontroller families. The single wire interface module
(SWIM) and JTAG/serial wire debugging (SWD) interfaces are used to
communicate with any STM8 or STM32 microcontroller located on an
application board.
In addition to provide the same functionalities as the ST-LINK/V2,
the ST-LINK/V2-ISOL features digital isolation between the PC and
the target application board. It also withstands voltages of up to
1000 Vrms.
STM8 applications use the USB full-speed interface to communicate
with the ST Visual Develop (STVD) or ST Visual Program (STVP)
software.
STM32 applications use the USB full-speed interface to communicate
with Atollic®, IAR™, Keil®or TASKING integrated development
environments.
For Microchip Evaluation and Development Boards
The PICkit 3 In-Circuit Debugger offers great value at a low
cost.
The MPLAB PICkit 3 allows debugging and programming of PIC and dsPIC
Flash microcontrollers at a most affordable price point using the
powerful graphical user interface of the MPLAB X Integrated
Development Environment (IDE).
The MPLAB PICkit 3 is connected to the design engineer's PC using a
full speed USB interface and can be connected to the target via an
Microchip debug (RJ-11) connector (compatible with MPLAB ICD 2,
MPLAB ICD 3 and MPLAB REAL ICE).
The connector uses two device I/O pins and the reset line to
implement in-circuit debugging and In-Circuit Serial Programming.
The PICkit 3 In-Circuit Debugger/Programmer is NOT a production
programmer. It should be used for development purposes only.
See Debuggers and Programmers page for pricing.
